Pick-Up Guidelines (Recommended Options)

Your Mount Rinjani adventure begins with a free pick-up service from anywhere in Lombok — including Lombok International Airport, Senggigi, Kuta, Tetebatu, Mataram, Bangsal, or Kayangan Port.

The journey to Senaru Village (601 m) takes about 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on your starting point.
Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rice fields, traditional villages, and the foothills of Mount Rinjani  a perfect first glimpse of Lombok’s natural beauty.

All transfers are made in air-conditioned private vehicles operated by our Green Rinjani transport team, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Recommended Pick-Up Time

We highly recommend choosing a morning pick-up (around 09:00–10:00 AM) whenever possible.
Arriving in Senaru by early afternoon (around 2–3 PM) allows you to:

  • Rest and recover from your journey before the trek,
  • Enjoy the cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings,
  • Visit Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls, just a short walk from your guesthouse,
  • Join the evening trek briefing with your guide or Green Rinjani staff, fully rested and prepared for the next day’s climb.

Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Green Rinjani Guest House, featuring private rooms, mountain views, and hot showers.
Dinner will be served at the Green Rinjani Restaurant, followed by a detailed briefing about the trekking route, preparation, and safety instructions.
Dinner and overnight stay in Senaru are included.

Late Afternoon or Evening Arrivals

What if we arrive in Lombok in the afternoon or evening  can we still join the trek the next day?
Yes, absolutely. Many of our guests also arrive in the afternoon or at night, and we can still arrange your pick-up and transfer to Senaru on the same day.
You will still stay overnight in Senaru Village before starting the trek the next morning.

Please note that if you arrive late in the evening, your rest time before the trek will be shorter.
That’s why we recommend arriving earlier in the day whenever possible, so you have enough time to relax, enjoy dinner, and get a good night’s sleep before your Rinjani adventure.

No matter your arrival time, our Green Rinjani transport team will ensure you are picked up safely from your arrival point and transferred directly to Senaru, where your accommodation and trekking preparations will be ready for you.

Please note that beer and alcoholic drinks are not included in any of our trekking packages — neither Standard nor Deluxe options.
For safety and environmental reasons, alcohol consumption is not recommended during the Mount Rinjani trek. Guests are advised to stay hydrated with water, tea, or coffee provided by our team.

Sembalun Start Point – Additional Shuttle Service

For guests staying in Senaru Village but starting their trek from Sembalun, Green Rinjani provides a private transfer service on the morning of your trekking day.
