Rinjani Trekking with groups
GO GREEN, AND JOIN US ON A MEMORABLE TRIP TO SENARU, SEMBALUN VILLAGE, AND MOUNT RINJANI!
Green Rinjani Trekking is offering a new program for backpackers and travelers around the world who want to visit our lovely mountain!
This program leaves 2 times a week, departing every Monday & Thursday. Tours start from Sembalun and end in Senaru. The group minimum is 2 persons, with a maximum of 20 persons. Groups more than 12 people may arrange their own dates with a customized itinerary.
MISSION OF THIS TOUR:
We sell this program because a lot of our guests do not know how and where to book group treks with a low price and high-quality service. The mission of our program is to help guests who want to climb Mount Rinjani get excellent service on the way up, and all the way back into town. On this journey, all of our team and our guests will be required to bring trash down from the mountain to Senaru village as part of our ecological focus. In addition, Green Rinjani will be providing its signature tree planting program on this trip, with the goal of turning Mount Rinjani into an even cleaner and greener mountain.

3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS TREKKING PACKAGE
Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Senaru Village to Sembalun Village (1.150.m) – Sembalun Crater Rim(2.639.m)
We will wake up at 6.00am and get breakfast at 6.30-40. Our special mountain car will be ready to bring us to Sembalun village for a 45 minute drive, we will arrive there approx 8.00am. Then we will proceed to registration in Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051 m and start the trek to Pos 1 (Pemantauan) 1300 m. The walking time will be about 2 hours. We will take a rest for 5-10 minutes at Pos 1 ( Pemantauan), and then will continue to Pos 2 (Tengengean) 1500 m. The walking time between these two points will be about 1 hour. We will take a short break here for 5-10 minutes at Pos 2 ( Tengengean ), and then we will continue our journey to Pos 3 (Pada Balong ) at 1800 m. Walking time is around 1 hour. We will rest for 2 hours at Pos 3, then your guide and porters will prepare for lunch, and a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate or lemon tea) will be served. After lunch and a rest, we will continue heading to Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun) 2639M. The walking time will be around 3 hours, including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp overnight at Sembalun Crater Rim, then from here we can enjoy the spectacular views. As the sun sets, (and during sunrise the next morning), Segara Anak Lake, Sembalun village, the summit of Mount Rinjani, and the northern half of Lombok can be seen from here.
Day 02: Summit/Top 3.726m – Segara Anak Lake and Hot springs (2008m)-Senaru Crater Rim(2.641m)
We will wake up at 02:30 am and have some light breakfast, then at 03:00 am we will start the trek heading towards Rinjani’s summit (3.726 m). Walking time will be approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. The first stage is a moderate climb for 120 minutes, while the second stage is a fairly easy but long trek. The last hour is very steep and difficult (there are many loose stones, and as you take two steps forward you will slip one step back). From the summit, you’ll be able to take in amazing views of Lombok island, Bali, Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake. After sunrise, we will go down to the Sembalun crater rim and have a hot breakfast and break. Then, we will go down to the lake and hot spring. The trail down is very steep and slippery, so we will hike very carefully and will take around 3 hours to get to the lake and hot spring. Lunch will be provided by the lake, and the hot spring just 100m walk from there. It’s a nice place where you can soak in and rejuvenate your skin – you’ll love it. After we have lunch and enough resting, we will hike up to the crater rim of Senaru for 3 hours. Walking this route is quite steep, so we will be extra careful. Then we will reach the place with nice views from the summit, where you can enjoy the incredible sunset over the Mount Agung in Bali. You will also be able to see smoke coming out of the hole of the new volcano by the lake. Afterwards, we will enjoy our dinner and camp for the night by the lake here.
Day 03: Senaru Crater Rim(2.641m) – Senaru Village (601m)
After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, and taking the picture of the lake’s beautiful scenery, we will go down to Senaru village. The hike will take about 4-5 hours down, including a break and lunch on the way between Pos 2. Then we will arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre around 12.30am to 13.00, and our private car will bring to your next destination (such as Gili Island, Senggigi, Matara or Lombok International Airport), and our trek will come to an end.
