Our 3 days 2 night Summit Rinjani Trek start from sembalun and end in senaru village, takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes in Indonesia, from vibrant savannas to pristine lakes and active volcanic craters. This 3D2N trek will take you through some challenging yet rewarding terrain. Here’s what you can expect:
Summit Rinjani Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Trek to Crater Rim Sembalun
- Breakfast at Senaru Base Camp: Start your adventure with a nutritious breakfast to fuel up for the trek.
- 07:00 AM: Depart for Sembalun Village (45-60 min drive).
- Registration at Rinjani Information Center: Begin your trek at 1,051 meters.
- Trek to POS 1 (1,300 meters): A 2-hour walk to your first rest stop.
- Continue to POS 2 (1,500 meters): A 1-hour hike with a 10-minute rest.
- Reach POS 3 (1,800 meters): A 1-hour walk to a lunch break. Rest for 2 hours.
Climb to the Crater Rim (2,639 meters): This 3-hour ascent offers incredible views. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Crater Rim of Sembalun.

Day 2: Summit Push & Segara Anak Lake
- 02:30 AM: Wake up early for a light breakfast.
- Summit Push: Begin the ascent to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 meters). The climb takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes. At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and the Segara Anak Lake.
Return to Crater Rim for Breakfast: Descend to the camp for breakfast.
- Descent to Segara Anak Lake: It is a 3-hour walk down to the lake. The lake will provide lunch and a relaxing soak in the hot springs.
- Ascent to Crater Rim Senaru: After lunch, the 3-hour climb to Crater Rim Senaru (2,641 meters) begins.
- Enjoy the Sunset: Watch the spectacular sunset with views of Mount Agung in Bali.
- Dinner and Overnight: Rest at the Crater Rim Senaru.

2. What if there are only 2 people booked?
For the trek to proceed, a minimum of 4 participants is required. If there are fewer, we offer two options: upgrade to a private trek or wait for a group to form. Your satisfaction is our priority!
3. Can you accommodate vegetarians or special dietary needs?
Yes! We can offer vegetarian meals, including gluten-free options. However, for those with gluten-free needs, we recommend a private trek for better meal management.
4. What are the accommodation arrangements for Rinjani Trekking With Groups?
The accommodation before the trek is basic but comfortable, with a hot shower and breakfast to fuel you up. During the trek, you’ll be in shared tents, and if you prefer a private tent, we can arrange that for an additional fee.

Shared Transportation for Convenience and Affordability
When you book our Rinjani Open Trip, transportation is seamlessly included in the package. Since it’s a shared trip, you’ll be traveling with other guests, making it a cost-effective option while still ensuring comfort and convenience for everyone.
Pick-Up Locations and Times:
We offer convenient pick-up points to make your journey smooth and easy:
- Kuta, Lombok: Pick-up at your hotel around 9:00 AM
- Mataram Area: Pick-up around 10:30 AM
- Senggigi: Pick-up around 11:00 AM
- Bangsal: Pick-up around 11:30 AM
If you’re staying outside these areas or have special pick-up needs, no worries! We can arrange custom pick-up locations for you. Just contact us in advance, and we’ll make sure everything is set for your pick-up ( extra cost )
Transportation from Senaru to Sembalun:
A key part of your adventure is the drive from Senaru to Sembalun, the starting point for your trek. Here’s what you can expect for this leg of the journey:
- Vehicle Type: We use small trucks specifically designed for the rugged terrain of Lombok. Each truck can carry up to 10 trekkers, ensuring a cozy yet spacious ride for everyone.
- Comfort: While these trucks aren’t luxury SUVs or vans, they are perfectly suited for the mountainous roads that lead to Sembalun. They’re safe, reliable, and comfortable for the journey ahead.
Please note that this transportation is shared, so you might be traveling with fellow adventurers. But don’t worry—our experienced drivers ensure your comfort and safety every step of the way.

- Couples: If you’re traveling as a couple, you’ll be provided with one private room for the two of you at the hotel before the trek. You’ll also have one private tent during the trek for a comfortable stay under the stars.
- Group Travelers: If you’re booking as a group, you’ll be accommodated together in the same room. You’ll have the privacy and space to relax with your companions before your adventure.
The hotel included in the Rinjani Open Trip package is a simple, clean, and comfortable accommodation. While not a luxury hotel, it provides the essential amenities you’ll need to relax and rest up for the trek:

During the trek, you will stay in shared tents. Here’s what to expect:
