Plant Rescue Division

The Plant Rescue Division is a unique organization created by a group of colleagues here at Green Rinjani Trekking, and it’s the first of its kind in Indonesia.

Green Rinjani feels that every living person or animal on this earth has an equal right to life. With that in mind, we designed the Plant Rescue Division as a way to put the spotlight on the diverse plant life in our world that deserves to be nurtured, loved on, and taken care of in the years to come.

There are presently many people working for numerous causes of animal rescue and rehabilitation, but we found that there are comparatively very few people working to save and nurture our world’s diverse array of plants. With that in mind, we created the plant rescue initiative to actively seek out damaged or suffering plants, and help restore them to full health. At the same time, we’re also seeking to educate and re-energize tourists around the world about the wonders of the plant kingdom, and why it’s important we protect it.
